Chairman, National Commission for Minority Educational Institution visits Shibli Academy

Azamgarh (February 19, 2011): Justice M.S.A. Siddiqui, Chairman, National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, paid a visit to Darul Musannefin Shibli Academy today in the morning. First he prayed at the grave of the founder, Allama Shibli Nomani and then went around the Academy. He keenly observed the memorabilia displayed in the Academy museum and was delighted to see newly printed Academy's books. Justice Siddiqui admired the preservation of manuscripts and suggested microfilming of these precious collections. Dr. Shabistan Gaffar, Chairperson, Committee on Girls Education, who accompanied Justice Siddiqui, showed keen interest in manuscripts and was inquisitive of Academy's functioning.

Justice Siddiqui has come on 18th as Chief guest for the founder's day celebration of Maulana Azad Inter College, Anjan Shaheed (Azamgarh). Justice Siddiqui was given the 'Friendship Award 2011' jointly by College Manager, Mirza Arif Beg and Mr. Ajai Kumar Singh, President of 'World Peace Society'.

Justice Siddiqui and Dr. Gaffar was escorted to the Academy by Mirza Faridul Hasan Beg, Mirza Mahfoozur Rahman Beg (Manager, Shibli National P.G.College), Mr. Neyaz Jamali, Mirza Qamrul Hasan Beg, Mirza Arif Beg and Ms Fatima (Secretary, Jamia Cooperative Bank, Delhi).
